Reindeer Farm
Guests have the opportunity to learn about the age-old way of life in the northern areas of Europe on a Lappish reindeer farm. Although man began to tame reindeer hundreds of years ago, it is still basically a wild animal. However, nowadays, there are a few reindeer farms in Lapland where travelers may encounter this interesting animal. Guests will receive a warm welcome from the reindeer herdsman himself upon arrival to the farm. Dozens of reindeer roam around the corral for all to see. The ‘Kota’, a traditional Lappish teepee, stands in the center of the farm.
